Spiritual Dream Encounters
Dreams do convey information from the spirit dimension
Although Jesus is an iconic figure in Christianity, and every group perceives him in a unique way of their own; the underline foundation of Jesus’ personality is the fact that he is gentle, loving, caring, and calm. He was and still is a role model to many who admire his mental and spiritual strength.
Christians give themselves the excuse that they can never be like Jesus because he is a god! And he came to die and save them from their sins! The fact that people are not like Jesus is because they don't want to make the effort to be like him; while changing bad habits is not easy. Due to many disempowering teachings that god created humans imperfect which made them believe that they are not worthy! When people adopt others’ belief without evaluating the contents of this belief, they might fall victims to their ignorance. Then they can be manipulated to create a negative environment for themselves instead of positive one.

Jesus came to live with us and teach us the truth. You do not follow someone because he told you to follow him; you idolize him because you want to adopt the qualities he possesses as your own. Jesus did not say one thing and did something else, he lead by example.
I’ve always thought of Jesus as family. He’s been a big inspiration in my spiritual life. I can remember seeing him in four vivid dreams. I may have seen him in other dreams but the details are a blur. Unfortunately not all dreams are remembered. I was a teenager the first time I dreamt of Jesus. All I can remember that I was in the front yard of my house standing before Jesus with my hands around his waist while my head resting on his chest sobbing and crying without really knowing the reasons why! He had both of his arms around me, comforting me without saying a word. |
When I woke up I was still sobbing and crying, but I was happy to know that he was there to make me feel better. The way I interpreted this dream is that I may have been disappointed with some spiritual life aspect, and I have just realized the overwhelming effort needed to achieve its completion.
The second time I dreamt of Jesus was around 2003; the dream was not in modern days, it was set in an ancient Mediterranean style village with clay homes, foot paths, and little kiosk stands. I was standing in front of one of the kiosks, when I saw a crowd of men dressed typical to that era with long robes and sandals carrying Jesus on a handmade stretcher, and entering with him into an old home made of stone and clay. I asked “what is wrong?” Somebody answered “Jesus is hurt and needs to recover”. I woke up from that dream hoping that Jesus was ok. This may have been a past life regression dream where I may have been reliving that scenario.

Asking for divine assistance

In 2006 my dog past away at the age of 14; the same night of his death, the light in the hallway flickered on and off every time I became emotionally upset. I have never experienced such painful emotions of loss like that in my life. After a number of days of feeling this way I dreamt of being stuck in a body of water waist deep. The weeds and twine were wrapped around me preventing me from moving. I lifted my hands up in the air towards the sky and called “DAD”! All of a sudden I saw god all in white, gliding on a cloud towards me. He was only visible from the waist up; below his waist were only clouds. He lifted me out of the water and while he was helping me remove the weeds off, he laughed jokingly and said “This was not supposed to be this hard!” Then carried me up gliding over the water and gently brought me down towards a beautiful sandy beach. I was pleased and happily went on my way. When I woke up; I felt relieved as if a big rock was lifted off my shoulders and all of my emotions were resolved.

In 2007 my terminally ill mother in law was having difficult times before her passing. During that period, I dreamt of being in a home of a woman who had barricaded herself in her house and was afraid to get out. All of a sudden I saw Jesus; he wrapped his arms around me and gave me a big long hug. He was so tall my arms could only reach his waste just like a child to a parent. The hug felt so real, because I could feel the warmth of his body. He communicated to me telepathically that he is there to help the woman in the house. He also seemed to have with him a group of helpers. So I decided to leave the house and let him deal with the situation at hand. This dream was related to my mother in law’s situation where she needed divine help at that final point of her life.
In 2011 again I dreamt of being in the kitchen with Jesus. He was showing me his perfectly cooked Thanksgiving turkey decorated to perfection; while my Thanksgiving turkey was still raw and needed a lot of work. When I woke up from this dream, I realized that the message was that I still have to do a lot of work towards my spiritual growth. I discussed in my previous blog titled “Reasons why you should Pay Attention to your Dreams” how spiritual beings contact you using your dreams as a medium to give you comfort in messages about whatever life circumstance you might find yourself in. You have to ask in your prayers and meditations to receive, and do not get disheartened if it does not happen when you want it to. Just keep on insisting to get a message and they will not disappoint you.
