Spiritual people are not at all competitive. They do not care what others are up to, how much more money they have, or what kind of a job they keep. They are happy being themselves, offering help when they’re asked, and minding their own business. All they care about is being happy, harmonious with their surroundings, and nature.
You can tell people’s level of spirituality by the way they hold themselves around others; the way they speak, the way they compete on how important their positions are, by the luxury cars they drive and so on. It is the entire package of attitude that differentiates between the egotistical and the spiritual. Meddlers have no inspirations, they keep on looking into others business because they are bored with their own life. Inspirations come to people who are more spiritual. The line of communication between them and the spiritual world is open and they can receive the guidance, and inspirations coming from beyond. On the other hand egotistical people have squeezed their cord of spiritual communication by having their big fat ego sitting on top of it causing a disconnection. |
Parents, who take it upon themselves to meddle in their children’s lives, are also using a form of control. Children are not the parents’ possessions, they came here to experience life and live it their way. When children are young you need to keep them safe, give them love, guidance and protect them; but once they become adults your job is to enjoy their company, as friends not belongings.
