Food and Healthy Living
Healthy food comes from natural gardens
The social and living behaviors of people have been changing drastically for the past few decades. Families with both spouses working don’t have much time to cook and prepare healthy meals anymore. Boxed and fast foods have become an easy solution to almost everyone.
Although most people nowadays know the ramifications of this unhealthy eating habit; they are too tired to care for the moment. But the sad reality is that the body cannot recover from the constant abuse; so it breaks down into sickness.
I have heard of a woman who had been given a few months to live; but instead of giving up, she went to live in a natural setting, away from cities and pollution. She ate only what was planted in the garden of vegetables, and herbs while drinking natural spring water located in the area. Months passed; when the doctor examined her once again, he was surprised to find her sickness had vanished without a trace!
The story of this woman is not an isolated incident many people had had a miraculous recovery after changing their habitual way of living. The key is to understand the energy value of the foods you are consuming.
This doesn’t even stop at the eating healthy level it goes beyond that; eating a skinless piece of chicken for example is not enough to say it is healthy! Knowing where it comes from, how it has been treated, what it was fed, the conditions under how it has been raised, and how fresh it is, play a huge part in the level of health it provides your body.

We all know that everything in this world is made out of energy, and energy gets transferred from one place to another; if the chicken was fed garbage and was mishandled its entire life, this negative energy will be transferred over to your body. As if to say ...you might as well be the chicken!
Have you ever heard of the term “you are what you eat”? Now eating one abused chicken is not going to affect your health tremendously, but constant eating of such quality of foods will impact your health in the long run. This was just one example. Although vegetables and fruits can’t be abused emotionally or physically, they can be abused through the environment and the process they have been grown in, the genetic alteration that has been taking place, and the chemicals that have been used. You don’t have to be a scientist or a genius to tell the difference between the taste of a naturally grown tomato and one cell removed from plastic genetically altered tomato. There is a reason why we were given taste buds; to use them and enjoy the taste. As soon as the vegetables are picked, they start losing their nutritional value over the time period it takes to get them on your plate. But if eaten almost immediately the nutritional value is 100% effective. Planting a small vegetable garden in your yard will pay your health dividends.
