We are part of the infinite world
|
In order to know who is god we first must know who god is not. God is not a male, not a female, does not favour anyone over the rest, and does not sit on a throne like a king. All these are only humans’ traits. God on the other hand is the whole universe; the scene and the unseen. You could say god is everyone and everything all put together. You are a small teeny weenie piece of the puzzle.
In order to understand this concept, let us use the human body as an example; the cells in our bodies are unique and have their own functionality. They are separate from each other, yet are connected to all in order to create the whole you. The cells in your heart are not more or less valued than the cells in your kidneys. Every one of us has an important and valued part that no other person can do regardless of gender, race, or intimate preference. You are not here to be judged, only to experience and enjoy life through a physical form. You are not separate from god, you are part of god. There are no reasons to keep you from getting direct contact with the infinite spirit (god). If you ask, you shall receive; if you knock, it shall be opened onto you. All you have to do is keep on trying and don’t give up until you receive. This leaves us with the final question; where is god? God is closer than you think, you may have thought that god is somewhere in heaven waiting for people to pass away in order to judge them. But that is not true; we may not be able to feel or see god with our limited senses, but God is all around us, within us, and within all things we see, feel and touch. God is everywhere all at the same time. The most powerful and insightful line of communication could be through your dreams. Ask in your prayers to get a message from god. It may happen right away or it may take a while just insist to receive. Messages could come in different forms, just keep an open mind and be ready to acknowledge the message. |
There is so much to know about God and the universe, but in order to understand it better you must read many spiritual and metaphysical books. Not all books explain spirituality the same way. It is up to you to decipher between them and choose what appeals to you most. Don’t be afraid to disagree with anyone.
I have to say that I was once looking for god, but now I’m very happy and grateful that I have found god; or did god find me?! In fact one day at my lowest point of frustrations and emotions god showed up in a way I did not expect. Every time I think back to that incident I feel warm and happy on the inside, but that is another story. Just keep on looking for god, asking in your prayer for direction, while reading spiritual books for more inspirations; by doing this, you will open up the lines of communication. © 2012 CharmingElements.com
